Wind Surfing




Since the 60´Sri Lanka has been attracting surfers as well as windsurfers from all over the world, as it´s one of the most reliable surf destinations on Earth. In 1984, windsurfing was introduced as an official event at the Los Angeles Olympics. The year after, 1985, Nilaveli, on the east coat of Sri Lanka, was the location of the International Funboard Championships.

 A golf game in a tropical environment of Sri Lanka is an experience like no other. There are three distinctive courses spread across the country. There´s the hilly and scenic course of the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, the exclusive Royal Colombo Golf Club and the simply spectacular Victoria Golf and Country Resort. Golf has become a popular sport in Sri Lanka. The Royal Colombo Golf Club was built way back in 1879. The golf sport was first introduced by the colonial population, who loved to play a game reminiscent of their home country. 


Trekking & Hiking

Trekking and hiking are excellent ways to not only explore a country but also gain an insight into her people, their traditions and beliefs.
